After some helpful suggestions, where users found it difficult to directly compare fuel and electric costs over a given distance, we now have a Fuel & Energy Comparison Tool to help!
To use it, start off with the distance of the journey. This could be anything from your daily commute, to a yearly average figure.
Then you will need the MPG and fuel cost for your ICE car. Once the figures are entered in, you fuel cost will be calculated as a subtotal.
Finally, you will need the energy consumption (miles/kWh) and electricity price for your EV. A subtotal will be generated below it.
At the bottom, the total difference in cost will be calculated. We hope this helps!
